Varietal: 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc
Wine making: « Terroir » (soil): Garonne Gravel Harvest: Hand-picked and sorted at the vineyard Ageing: French oak barrels for 14 months. In barrels used for one previous vintage.
Tasting Notes: classic-style ripe, balanced wines, boasting intense colors and a very decent tannic structure.
Lynch Bages, which has a long history in Bordeaux takes its name from the local area where the chateau is located in Bages. The vineyard of what was to become Lynch Bages was established and then expanded by the Dejean family who sold it in 1728 to Pierre Drouillard.
